One suspect was arrested Monday, 5 November, for possession of suspected stolen property.
The incident took place at about 1pm, according to Florida Police spokesperson, Mpho More.
Three unknown males entered a shop on the corner of 1st Avenue and Hull Street and threatened the complainant with a firearm. They instructed him to open the cash registers and took money, cigarettes and cellphones.
With the help of the community, one suspect was arrested and found to be in possession of the stolen goods and a toy gun which he presumably used in the robbery. He was positively identified as one of the suspects who had robbed the shop in question.
It is not yet known whether the suspect might be part of the gang that robbed a café on the corner of Rebecca and Naomi Streets on 26 October.
