The two Florida Police officers who faced more than 16 counts, Shumane Nancy Moshoeshwe and Rudzani Tadisi, have been rearrested and remanded recently.
This came after they were released earlier this year. The Record is still in the process of determining whether they were released on bail or released because the charges were dropped.
When they appeared in court in July last year there were already 16 counts against them, but the investigating officer told the court “charges were still being made against the accused on a daily basis”. Charges against them include assault, fraud and intimidation.
It is alleged that Moshoeshwe had strong ties with the drug world and at one stage even dated a notorious Nigerian national.
