Mckay said Bosch’s face is badly swollen and he is in a great deal of pain, but he is doing well given the circumstances. Yesterday the neurosurgeon treating Bosch said he is out of danger. At this stage there is no need for surgery, despite a fragment of a bullet being lodged in Bosch’s brain, he said.
