The 27th Battle of the Giants All Styles Dance Sport Festival was held at Sun City recently and great results were achieved.

The Masters Boyz Crew, a hip-hop dance group from the Mario Gomes Hip Hop Dance Academy, was one of the many crews participating, and did exceptionally well.

Juandré Gonsalves was part of the dance group.

The group, consisting of Juandré Gonsalves, Raymond Arrow, Aléjandro dos Ramos, Malique George, Christopher Radinne, Jonathan Bailey, Wentzel Snyman, Aiden Mckinley, Jonathan Booth, Jordan Matulich, Luan Naudé and Divan van Eeden, competed in the 12- to 15-year-old Amateur Hip Hop Formation category, and won a gold medal.

The event attracted over 1 000 dancers who competed in all dance styles, making it one of the tougher competitions. The members of the group thanked their coach and trainers for all the training. “Without their help and support, we would never have had the opportunity to achieve our goal. We worked very hard to gain this title,” the boys said.
