Mother’s detective work leads to finding son

A mother, Henna Snyman who’s son went missing two weeks ago took it upon herself to hit the streets and find him.

Kallie Venter (31) went missing on 31 December and after Snyman posted his disappearance on social media she received a few leads but had no success in finding him. Yesterday she heard he might be in Krugersdorp and she traced the number he last phoned her from to a business in Krugersdorp.

She went there and the owner told her that Venter indeed was there to apply for a vacant post. The owner was able to supply her with the contact address.

She told the Record all was well with her son and that she is relieved the ordeal is over.
